Review: Toshi Japanese Restaurant Brampton

Toshi is one of the absolute best Japanese Restaurants in Brampton. I could eat there every week and I would still love it. There is a wide variety of options and many inexpensive options for those watching their wallets.

First, I would like to point out that as far as restaurants go, Toshi Japanese Restaurant Brampton is a fairly cheap dinner restaurant. Many of their dishes cost between 3 and 7 dollars which make it very inexpensive and you get a fairly large amount of food for what you pay. They’re best deal to me is their Teriyaki Chicken dish, which gets you a large portion of food for only about $5. It comes with rice, sauce, chicken, and vegetables. Additionally, their Maki Rolls are excellent quality. I would have no problem recommending Toshi Japanese Restaurant Brampton to any individual in the Brampton area.

What Fancy Restaurants Can I Go To on a Budget?

Figure 2: Steak (photograph) by anonymous, adapted from: http://dinehere.ca/brampton/keg-steakhouse-bar-the-brampton

As this is one of the most common questions, I feel we should define what fancy restaurants are. Fancy restaurants are the restaurants that require a slightly higher dress code and typically cost more than the average restaurant. This includes locations such as seafood restaurants.

I think the best bet for someone looking to go to a fancy restaurant would be to go to The Keg in Brampton. This definitely falls under the category of fancy restaurants, as it typically requires nicer clothing and is slightly above other restaurants in cost. The Keg is well worth the price as you get great quality food for the price you pay. You get many of the offerings of other seafood restaurants but you can also find other offerings such as chicken and steak.

Below I have listed my top 10 food picks at the Mandarin Brampton. Please note that this list is entirely subjective and biased.

  1. Spring Rolls
  2. Hot & Sour Soup
  3. Shanghai Noodles
  4. Cantonese Chow Mein
  5. Garlic Broccoli
  6. Sweet & Sour Peking Style Pork
  7. Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls
  8. Torpedo Shrimp
  9. Ginger Beef with Vegetables
  10. The whole desserts table.

What can I say? I have a sweet tooth. Though it doesn’t say much for them as the best Chinese restaurant, they definitely have the best dessert selection at a Chinese restaurant. Thank you for that, Mandarin Brampton!
